Handwritten autobiography centering around Davis' ancestry, missions and LDS Church callings and biographical sketch of his wife Mary. Included are patriarchal blessings, temple and genealogical data, his testimony, and a letter to his grandmother. Also included are extracts from the "History of the British Mission" and the Millenial Star and a biographical sketch of the Davises by a son, Elisha Jr. The collection also contains genealogical data compiled by Jennie Davis Oliver on the Abijah Richards (maternal grandfather of Elisha) family.
